Probate

PDF Print

This is the process of closing your estate and distributing your assets to your beneficiaries. The process may or may not be formal depending on the circumstances at the time of your death. There are estate planning tools available to avoid formal administration or as it is commonly called “probate.” However, in some cases, the probate process is easier and less expensive than the avoidance process.

If your estate might be best served by a trust, we can discus the best option in an estate planning conference. If probate is required, I am here to help with that process and have done so for many years. For more information regarding the Minnesota probate process, contact me today.
