I grew up in Dakota County, where I attended Rosemount public schools. I moved to California to attend college and law school, and recently returned to Rosemount where I have a large extended family.

I have practiced law for more than 25 years. I am an experienced negotiator and have served as a mediator, arbitrator, and Pro Tem Judge. I have extensive trial experience, and have tried more than fifty jury trials. Thoroughly knowledgeable in the family law process, I have handled a number of complex family law matters involving: business valuations, forensic custody evaluations, complex tracing issues concerning assets of mixed character, and cases involving bankruptcy, short sales of property, and foreclosures. I have the experience necessary to guide my clients through the difficult and sometimes painful process of divorce or the loss of a loved one.

My primary focuses are in family law, drafting wills, and handling probates. I am licensed to practice in both California and Minnesota, and have recently completed extensive CLE in the area of family law in the State of Minnesota.
